Dramatically Level Up Your Virtual Toolkit
without Breaking the Bank
(webcast)
with Luria Petrucci

Luria PetrucciFive years ago, when the pandemic came along, many of us got into the video business, which we had not expected to do. We bought a webcam and a ring light and started giving virtual presentations.

Back then, just being able to give a decent-quality virtual presentation was a big step forward. But today, five years later, the technology has advanced and so has the technique, so that what was good enough back then can fall short of expectations.

Video isn’t the future — video is the present. Come to this session to make sure your video presence (on Zoom, on YouTube, in video courses, etc.) keeps your brand on top.

Read more about this session at the bottom of this newsletter, then register for the live program or pre-order the recording.

Note: Everyone who registers for the live webcast session or orders the recording will get a link to the recorded video of the online webcast, as well as the audio MP3 for convenient re-listening.

How to keep people from fighting on your social media postsVickie Sullivan

Ever share an article on social media, then become shocked when an argument about it blows up in the comments section? It happens all the time.

You can prevent those fights by not setting up the temptation. How you frame what you share on social media matters. Here are two ways to avoid arguments:

  • Create context: Posting a link and walking away insinuates you want to start a conversation. Adding a backstory to your share prevents people from making up stories about your beliefs. The best option: Include a personal experience explaining why the issue is important.
  • Include your intention: Why are you posting in the first place? Is it an example of what you and your followers experience all the time? Including a short note about why you are posting will direct responses toward your motivation instead of triggering an adjacent rant.

A lot of us share articles to validate a more significant point. Put your motivation front and center to prevent strangers from arguing with one another in the comments. When folks understand where you’re coming from, they are less likely to be confrontational.
