Building a Multi-Million-Dollar Practice in the AI Age (webcast)
with Randy Gage

Randy GageHave you been thinking, “I don’t work in an office. I’m a speaker, a content expert. AI isn’t going to take my job.”

Think again.

What you know isn’t going to be a permanent ticket, because before long, AI is pretty much going to know all that you know and more.

You need to be able to provide solutions to clients that AI can’t. Our next program — at a special time and for a special length — will give you a framework for developing a practice that can have huge payoff.

Read more about this session at the bottom of this newsletter, then register for the live program or pre-order the recording.

Note: Everyone who registers for the live webcast session or orders the recording will get a link to the recorded video of the online webcast, as well as the audio MP3 for convenient re-listening.

Save the dates:

  • Thur., Sept. 25 — “Podcasting for Profit & Platform: Turn Your Voice into Visibility” with Ellie Puckett. Ellie will share ideas on how to grow your podcast audience and revenue.
  • Thur., Oct. 23 — “Your Introduction Is Not Your Bio: How to Connect with Your Audience Before You Even Take the Stage” with Joel Weldon, CSP, CPAE. Joel will share how to craft your introduction so your introducer creates connection with you and anticipation before you hit the stage. A few attendees will work with Joel to rewrite their intro, so register for the live session.

Miscellaneous Tips

Time to shift your business model? — Randy Gage

If your business depends on one-off speeches, you’re on borrowed time.

How to prioritize your time and let go of outdated routinesVickie Sullivan

My plan for this year was to not by add more to my to-do list but by taking something off my plate. I’m focusing on ways to prioritize my time and asking, “Is this task/process/experience necessary? And why?” As a result, I’ve paused the podcasts I had been including with my blog posts. I may stop them forever.

I have several reasons for doing this, but the bigger question is this: How do you know when to let go of something you’ve done for a long time? Two considerations:

  • To make time for something better. It wasn’t that I disliked doing the podcasts. But they doubled the time to get the blog posts out. This year, I realized I need to prioritize my time more intentionally. I didn’t mind the time required for the podcasts until I wanted to shift my focus to something else. What I learned from last year is that a significant source of my struggles comes from adding without subtracting. This is an opportunity to change an old habit.
  • The purpose of the podcasts got lost. They never received the same engagement as written posts. To justify the time involved, I had to return to my intent and ask, “Are these blog posts enough? What do the audio clips bring to the party?” Honestly, I didn’t have a good answer. So, unless and until I know the void that the audio fills, the podcasts are sidelined.

It’s easy to get into a routine and do something just because you decided to do it a long time ago. But if you want to prioritize your time effectively, it’s essential to check in and ask, “Is the reason why I’m doing this still valid? Is the time/effort investment worth it?” Making our lives easier requires us to get off autopilot and let go of what used to be a good idea.

Technology Tips

Have AI turn your webinar into written contentRebecca Morgan

Do you have a killer webinar that you know would make great written content for a blog post, article, or even book? I did, so I asked ChatGPT how to do this most effectively. I’m still experimenting, but this is what it said.

  1. Upload the video to create a transcript. (I’ll use Descript for this, but you may have other tools.)
  2. Put the transcript into Claude.ai, with prompts to remove audience references that wouldn’t make sense to someone not in the webinar. For example, comments to specific people in the audience.
  3. Put the edited version into ChatGPT to refine the tone, add transitions, and if you want, create chapter headers.
  4. Run the draft through Grammarly or ProWritingAid for stylistic consistency.

Since you’re asking AI to just edit, not create any content, you can rest easy that you’re not tapping anyone else’s content. If you only want it to use your uploaded document, say something like: "Answer only based on this file, not outside sources."

Building a Multi-Million-Dollar Practice in the AI Age (webcast)
with Randy Gage

Randy GageIf your business depends on one-off speeches, you’re on borrowed time. AI isn’t just changing the speaking game — it’s ending it. In three years, knowledge alone won’t get you booked — because AI will know more than you ever could. To succeed in the new AI-driven market, you need to transform from just another person offering speeches to the authority everyone is looking for.

By 2028, the market of clients who will be hiring you for what you know will be almost non-existent. No matter how extensive you believe your knowledge is, AI will know more. The only way forward is to become iconic.

You must be the authority people pay to access — not because of what you know, but because of who you are and how you deliver solutions AI never can.

If you’re interested in constructing this type of multi-million-dollar practice, this SNN webcast will help you map out the framework that works best for you and your market.

Succeeding in today’s market requires a more sophisticated model....

This means becoming iconic, getting paid because people want to know what you think. It begins by constructing a synergistic ecosystem of products and services: incorporating some combination of speaking, training, consulting, coaching, licensing, assessments, research, executive coaching, and other value-adding elements. And most importantly, building out your personal brand that keeps you relevant in AI searches, and being able to deliver real IP or value that can’t be delivered via AI platforms.

When you leave this session, you won’t just have ideas — you’ll have a playbook for transforming from a speech seller into a solution provider, capable of building a multi-million-dollar practice in the AI age.

The playbook will include:

  • Creating the ideal monetization model
  • Turning your content into a 24/7 money machine that books clients and sells products while you sleep
  • Publishing strategically so your name dominates the conversation — and the search results — when your market looks for answers
  • Building out a diversified product/service menu that generates flywheels for continuous cash flow
  • Synergistically integrating your podcasts, blog, newsletters, and social media to create campaigns
  • Owning the mindshare in your space
