The Program:

Would you like bright, young, tech-savvy minds to work on your business, without its costing you a dime? Do you have tasks that you’ve been wanting done, like social media posts from quotes from your books, articles, or webinar transcripts? Or clips from your webinars or speech videos to post on YouTube? You have a long list of things you’d love to have done, but you don’t have a VA, or if you do, s/he’s busy doing more important stuff.

Interns love working for people like us. Why? Because they can be creative, and their work will likely make it into the world. When interns work for big companies, they are relegated to really low-level, boring work where they don’t have much room to experiment.

There are some serious pitfalls to avoid. You want to go into this with your eyes wide open. Be informed before you dip your toe in the intern waters.

Since you are busy, and interns are only with you a short time, you need to know how to find good interns and get them up to speed quickly so they are productive.

Rebecca shares what she’s learned from engaging 170 interns since June 2020 without her paying a dime (some were paid, but by someone else — we’ll discuss).

In this session, you will learn how to:

  • delineate relevant tasks for interns
  • stay out of legal trouble (not giving legal advice here)
  • identify sources for a steady stream of good interns
  • whittle down applicants to only the serious ones before you interview them
  • interview multiple applicants efficiently
  • onboard new interns so they get up to speed quickly
  • manage interns with the least amount of time from you
  • have your current interns prepare the next set
