SpeakerNet News Intensives
Getting Speakers Bureaus to Book You
The Program:
It’s common to want someone else to do the marketing of your services. Then all you have to do is show up and do what you love. Some believe speakers bureaus are the solution — you’ll just send them video footage of you in action, and within weeks your calendar will be full. Giving them a percentage is a small price to pay for the explosion in business that you envision.
Of course, it’s not as easy as that. Bureaus are swamped with those wanting to be booked while they are busy canvassing for new business for their current clients. Some even charge to review your video and materials. That doesn’t make it impossible to work with bureaus, but you’re much better off knowing the ropes before you contact them.
These three recordings from past teleseminars are packed with wisdom from bureau owners as well as a speaker who’s regularly booked by bureaus.
